The U.S. Department of Education’s Grant Competition
to Prevent High-Risk Drinking or Violent Behavior Among College Students (84.184H)
(Fiscal Year
2007)
Special information regarding allowable indirect cost rates
All grant applicants (except those applying as individuals) may include federally-approved indirect cost rates in their grant project budgets. PLEASE NOTE that because these grants are not research grants, it is not appropriate to use the institutional research indirect cost rate. Instead, grant applicants should use the appropriate program or operations rate specified in their institution’s federally-approved indirect cost rate agreement in their proposed project budgets.
Please direct any questions about indirect costs or other grant application issues to Richard Lucey, Jr., at Richard.Lucey@ed.gov.
