2004 Alcohol and Other Drug Prevention Models on College Campuses Grant Competition
The U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Safe and Drug-Free Schools announces the 2004 Alcohol and Other Drug Prevention Models on College Campuses Grant Competition.
OSDFS
expects to award approximately 10 grants, ranging from $50,000 to $125,000,
to institutions of higher education (IHEs) that have had alcohol and other drug
prevention programs implemented for at least two full academic years. The 2004
Models Grants will allow the recognized IHEs to identify, enhance, evaluate,
and disseminate information about their models of alcohol and other drug prevention
on campus.
The Department’s Federal Register notice (.pdf file requiring Adobe Acrobat) provides details of the grant program and application process. Applications are available from the Department, and are due on April 16, 2004.
You can find information on the awardees of the previous rounds of this OSDFS grant competition in the Higher Education Center’s publication, Alcohol and Other Drug Prevention on College Campuses: Model Programs, which is available to order or download on the publications page of this Web site.
