The second step in the strategic planning process is establishing long-term goals and objectives. Based on the data that was collected to identify the problems, what are the changes in populations of students or the environment that you would like to see?

It is important to remember that when developing goal statements, terms such as decrease, increase, and reduce are used to ensure that the goals articulate changes that can be measured.
