Abstract:
The sedative Rohypnol, known as the date-rape drug, is circulating on college campuses. The small white pills are being slipped into young women's drinks at college parties, causing them to black out and forget what happened. Many young people also use the drug to intensify the effects of marijuana and alcohol. Manufacturer Hoffman-La Roche Inc. said that it will test rape victims for the drug, but the drug can be detected only within 60 hours of ingestion.
