The Community Coalition for Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment

Community Coalition is helping to transform the social and economic conditions in South Los Angeles that foster addiction, crime, violence and poverty by building a mass-based community institution that involves residents in creating, influencing and changing public policy. The site offers the opportunity to join an electronic forum, discussing issues affecting those in the field, it also provides the opportunity to share experiences. There is an informational reference list and tools for organizing community and self-assessment.
