New National Database of Local Policies to Restrict Malt Liquor and Fortified Wines

The University of Minnesota’s Alcohol Epidemiology Program

In 2008, the Alcohol Epidemiology Program at the University of Minnesota conducted a telephone survey of alcohol control officials in the 100 largest cities and metro areas in the U.S. in order to learn which cities had adopted local policies to restrict the sale of high-alcohol malt liquor and fortified wine. This site presents the results of that survey.
