City, CCSU look to address underage drinking

"At the Community-Campus Leadership Summit, hosted by Central Connecticut State University Sept. 24, CCSU President Jack Miller and New Britain Police Chief William Gagliardi spoke to a group of distinguished guests about the progress being made, through ongoing, collaborative town and CCSU efforts, in addressing underage drinking in the CCSU-New Britain community."
"Beginning in the fall of 2006, when New Britain Mayor Timothy Stewart and CCSU President Miller organized a public forum to discuss issues that impact both the city and campus, the Town and Gown Task Force was established, and has been meeting ever since to address issues that affect the entire community. ..."
