Claire Stores to post warning at Icing stores

"Claire's Stores Inc. said today that it will put signs near cash registers of its Icing stores saying it supports 'the responsible consumption of alcohol by customers who are of legal drinking age.'"
"The signs are in response to criticism of the chain for selling multi-colored alcohol flasks at those stores, said Per Brodin, a spokesman for Claire Stores. He said the decision had been made today..."
"Brodin said the company does not sell the flask at its 1,600 Claire's Stores in the United States and Canada because those stores are targeted at girls. He said Claire's does not intend to stop selling the flasks at any of its 400 Icing stores, including five in Oregon..."
