"U.S. Rep. Sandy Adams is leading the congressional effort to crack down on the abuse of two so-called 'designer drugs' found in products labeled as bath salts".

"Adams, an Orlando Republican whose four-county district includes North Brevard, has introduced legislation to place MDPV and Mephedrone on Schedule I of the Controlled Substances Act. She said that would categorize the drugs as serving no medicinal purpose, and ban them from distribution or sale in the United States. ..."
