"The number of forcible sex offenses on Duke University's campus nearly tripled last year, according to the university's annual crime report."

"But the chief of the school's police force attributed that increase -- from 5 incidents in both 2007 and 2008 to 13 last year -- to changes in how the school's department of student affairs is recording and reporting the crime. ..."
