The Higher Education Center is pleased to make the following announcements:

1) The U.S. Department of Education's OSDFS Announces Grants for Coalitions to Prevent and Reduce Alcohol Abuse at Institutions of Higher Education

This program provides financial assistance for the development, expansion, or enhancement of a statewide coalition. The focus of the coalition will be on preventing and reducing the rate of underage alcohol consumption, including binge drinking, among students at institutions of higher education (IHEs), on campuses and in surrounding communities.

Application transmittal deadline: July 6, 2009
