The Higher Education Center is pleased to make the following announcements:

1) Jeanne Clery Act Training Seminar

Security On Campus, Inc. in partnership with Fairfield University, Department of Public Safety, presents the Jeanne Clery Act Training Seminar, August 3-4, 2009, at Fairfield University in Fairfield, Connecticut. The day-and-a-half long seminar walks participants through each aspect of compliance including:
*Collecting, Classifying and Counting Crime Statistics
*Ongoing Disclosures - Timely Warning and Public Crime Log
*Victim Support Services & Security Programs
*Annual Security Report

UPDATED to include the new 2008 reporting requirements on:
*Expanded Hate Crime Reporting
*Partnering With Local Police
*Emergency Response & Immediate Notification

ADDED a panel comprised of national experts who have been helping to develop the latest campus safety reporting guidelines not only for the latest Clery Act amendments, but also new requirements related to:
*Campus Fire Safety Reporting
*Missing Students

At the conclusion of this interactive, multidisciplinary training, participants will be equipped with the tools necessary to address all reporting requirements in a comprehensive manner.
