The Higher Education Center is pleased to make the following announcements:
1) Higher Education Center Training Institute Materials Now Posted on Center's Web Site
The Higher Education Center hosted its first Training Institute, December 8-9, 2009, on the campus of the University of California, Irvine. More than 70 participants in nearly two dozen campus and community teams attended. The Training Institute included presentations from researchers and practitioners, and teams engaged in needs assessment and strategic planning exercises.

2) National Stalking Awareness Month, January 2010
January is National Stalking Awareness Month, a time that challenges our nation to fight this dangerous crime by learning more about it. Once again, the Stalking Resource Center (http://www.ncvc.org/src/Main.aspx) of the National Center for Victims of Crime (http://www.ncvc.org/) is pleased to join the Office on Violence Against Women of the U.S. Department of Justice (http://www.ovw.usdoj.gov/) in presenting a versatile set of resources to help plan observance of 2010 National Stalking Awareness Month and support outreach throughout the year.

3) Association for Student Conduct Administration Launches New Web Site
The Association for Student Conduct Administration (ASCA) has launched its new Web site www.theasca.org.
