"Victoria Cheng, a freshman at Ithaca College who died in February, once told her mother that if she didn't drink she would have no friends, her father, Joseph, said Thursday night. And what worries him today is that most students feel that same way."

"'Like many young people today, Victoria got caught up in the drinking culture,' he said. 'Young people get the impression that drunkenness is okay as long as no one gets hurt. We need to address the issue beyond safety and discuss it as a moral issue.' ..."
