KC upgrades campus security system to ensure student safety

"In an effort to better protect the students and employees, newly hired Kilgore College Police Chief Martin Pessink says the college has once again upgraded its state-of-the art video surveillance camera system."

"'The camera system we have in place now covers most areas of campus, whether it's parking lots, common areas or inside buildings,' Pessink said. 'The upgraded system will better protect our students and hopefully keep crime to a minimum.'"

"Pessink said the cameras record 24 hours a day and he and the KCPD staff can monitor live video feeds and recordings from the KCPD office. ..."
