Tolkien novel, but it's something else entirely: a comprehensive online collection of information about a wide range of psychoactive substances, where one can read seemingly endless testimonials penned by marijuana users describing feelings of relaxation, cocaine users writing about nervous energy, even heroin users discussing their desperation to kick their habit."

"More than 20,000 testimonials about the short- and long-term effects of dozens of different drugs have been uploaded to the site, which was launched in 1995 and achieved 501(c)(3) nonprofit status in 2008. One-time and habitual drug users alike have chronicled experiences described as euphoric, nightmarish and just about every sensation in between. ..."
