Normal seeking to track kegs through registration

"The Normal City Council will consider a keg registration ordinance Monday that was prompted by a Twin City group in 2007."

"Bloomington-Normal Community Campus Committee wanted a way to track and limit the sale of beer in kegs. The committee includes staff members from Chestnut Health Systems and Illinois State and Illinois Wesleyan universities..."

"The proposal would require anyone purchasing a keg to fill out a registration form that says it is unlawful to sell the beer or to furnish it to minors..."
