"Underage drinkers would be able to call 911 for a friend in need without worrying about the potential legal side effects, under legislation making its way through the state General Assembly."

"Legislation, known as the 'Good Samaritan' bill, passed the state Senate 50-0 on March 23. That legislation was sent to the House, where a similar piece of legislation was also introduced and voted out of the House Judiciary Committee. ..."
