Town and university to try new way to monitor Spring Weekend

"Upon recommendation from the University of Connecticut Board of Trustees' Student Life Committee, the town's Town/University Relations Committee will become the central oversight committee for Spring Weekend. Members include community, Mansfield government and university representatives."

The Town Council's Quality of Life subcommittee, for example, addresses issues related to rental properties and zoning regulations and the Mansfield Community-Campus Partnership committee focuses on student behavior related to drugs and alcohol..."
