UConn task force calls for end to wild partying during annual Spring Weekend

"If a moratorium on off-campus parties recommended Thursday by a University of Connecticut Spring Weekend Task Force had been put in place a year ago, Jafar Karzoun, of Milford, would probably be alive today, his attorney said Thursday."

"As it is, West Haven Attorney Donald Altschuler said the list of recommendation issued by the task force is 'a good thing' and bolsters the notion that precautions should be taken that weren't. ..."
