"As the University of New Hampshire's senior assistant vice provost for student affairs, she deals with it on a nearly daily basis. So when students get rowdy at their off-campus apartments, they might get a visit from her."

"'Whenever we hear about a neighbor having a problem, I'll go knock on a door,' Lawing said, noting that she made about 10 or 15 such visits last school year giving students a gentle reminder to behave. ..."
