UVa president preaches, answers questions

“After preaching before the packed pews of St. Paul’s Memorial Church on Sunday morning, the University of Virginia’s new president, Teresa A. Sullivan, responded to community members’ questions about recent tragedies, the culture of drinking, the role of staff and more.”

“Sullivan said she wanted to know the community’s concerns about the university and recent events. The sermon and Q&A were part of the church’s annual Convocation Sunday, a university-focused service at the start of the fall term. …”
