UWG groups tackle sexual assault

"A college student who becomes a victim of a sexual assault after a night of drinking may feel more comfortable talking to someone closer to their age than an older adult who they feel might judge them for their behavior."

"Based on that ideology, a University of West Georgia volunteer organization of students who go through training on how to address sexual assault and domestic violence issues is doing what it can to provide those victims with the information they need. ..."
