HEC/News—Incidents Archive

To streamline the Higher Education Center news service (HEC/News) process and minimize the number of duplicative stories sent to subscribers, the Higher Education Center compiles news reports concerning college student alcohol, other drug, and violence-related incidents on this page. Each article's name, date, and source are posted weekly. A link to the articles where more detailed accounts of what occurred can also be found. Links to these articles, as part of the Center's Web site, are permanently available for archival purposes.

Every Friday HEC/News subscribers receive an e-mail message with a summary of current news stories concerning college student deaths, injuries, and arrests. A brief synopsis of each incident and a link to this page are also provided.
