NASPA-Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education will hold its 7th annual NASPA Mental Health Conference and its 4th annual NASPA Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Prevention & Intervention Conference January 13–15, 2011, at the Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay, Miami, Florida. Substance abuse and other risky behaviors often coexist with or can mask broader mental health needs when co-occurring with depression and other emotional disorders. If left untreated, these problems can affect students’ emotional and social development, as well as their academic success and retention.

These conferences will be held simultaneously. Registrants can register for one conference and attend sessions at the other! The Call for Programs and Registration are live for both conferences.

More information on these conferences is available on the individual conference pages: 2011 NASPA Mental Health Conference and 2011 NASPA Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Prevention & Intervention Conference.
