In Changing Perceptions of Sexual Violence Over Time, published by VAWnet, the authors review available research on perceptions held by the general public about sexual violence and how those perceptions have changed over time. They also make recommendations for future practice, which include discussing the root causes of sexual violence and addressing subtle victim blaming.

It is a project of the National Resource Center on Domestic Violence and the Pennsylvania Coalition Against Domestic Violence and is supported by Cooperative Agreement with the National Center on Injury Prevention and Control, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
