The National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism will make Alcohol Research Education Project Grants to disseminate “new knowledge acquired from alcohol research to diverse audiences, including scientists, educators, clinicians, and other health and social service providers, patients and their families, professionals within the criminal justice system, and the general public.”
The grants will be made via the R25 NIH Research Grant mechanism. Applications submitted in response to this funding opportunity announcement for federal assistance must be submitted electronically through Grants.gov. Submissions must be made between April 25, 2008, and May 7, 2011.
Institutions of higher education, regional organizations, nonprofits, for-profit entities, governments, tribes, and others may apply for funding.
