In early May 2011, fourteen colleges and universities announced an initiative to fight high-risk drinking. The Learning Collaborative on High-Risk Drinking is the inaugural project of the National College Health Improvement Project, a joint undertaking between Dartmouth College (Hanover, N.H.) and the Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice.
The collaborative, which will begin meeting in summer 2011, plans to test new strategies for prevention, use comprehensive evaluation and measurement techniques to identify and implement the most effective programs, and share their results with other colleges.
Visit the Learning Collaborative Web site to learn more about the program, its methods, and how to participate.
