The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention’s (OJJDP) Underage Drinking Enforcement Training Center (UDETC) has announced a call for presentations for the 11th annual National Leadership Conference (NLC). The 2009 NLC will be held at the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center in Dallas, Texas, August 12–14.
This year’s NLC theme is "Beyond Boundaries: Timely Trends and Technology." The conference will include plenary sessions, workshops, and experiential learning exercises to provide participants with real-life experience, skills, and tools that can be used to enhance both local and more far-reaching efforts. With a focus on new and innovative methods and resources, this year’s conference offers participants in-depth knowledge that will make a real impact on efforts to enforce underage drinking laws in states and communities.
